The incorporation of these kinds of food into your diet is just not enough to reduce the effects of inflammation in the body. Care should also be taken to eliminate food that might be the cause of inflammation like processed food and soft drinks from your diet. 

The process through which food is cooked can also affect inflammation. Cooking food at very high temperatures like roasting, grilling, frying, etc can produce compounds that can contribute to increased inflammation.

Cooked food that is steamed, simmered, or braised would be a better alternative to food that is prepared at high temperatures. 

However, this is not an immediate effect, unlike anti-inflammatory medications. Incorporating food high in antioxidants into your diet and avoiding food that might cause inflammation can help in reducing back pain caused by inflammation if followed over the long term.
